SEO ALERTS

SEO alerts that bring the evidence with them.

SEO Orbiter emails you when a supported incident is detected. Open the affected pages, see what was observed and decide what to investigate next. You do not need to keep a dashboard open to notice the incident.

For website owners and small teams who want specific, actionable notifications. Incident emails go to the account address; you can turn them off in Settings.

Know which findings trigger an email

The notification rules focus on supported incidents rather than every small change. Technical faults require confirmation across separate checks, and traffic loss needs enough finalized history for a meaningful baseline.

  • Sustained website or selected-page click loss below the expected pattern.
  • A monitored URL returns 404 or a server error in two separate checks.
  • A monitored URL returns noindex in two successful checks.

Separate an alert from its possible explanation

A title, canonical or content change can help explain what happened around an incident. Those changes do not currently send standalone incident emails. Likewise, Search Console position and CTR patterns are investigation context, not a promise of fixed-keyword rank alerts.

  • See the observed problem and affected page before choosing a fix.
  • Treat a nearby deployment or title change as context until evidence supports a link.
  • Keep uncertainty visible when the available observations do not explain the loss.

Keep notifications connected to decisions

Open the incident and record the next action. For supported intentional changes, a time-limited exception can document why the signal is expected. Continue tracking the same investigation instead of losing the history across screenshots and email threads.

  • Confirmed technical checks cover up to ten selected URLs per website.
  • Google data delays and periodic check timing affect when an alert can arrive.
  • A successful send request and actual email delivery are different operational states.

Are these SEO ranking alerts?

They are incident alerts, including sustained search-click losses. Average position is available for diagnosis, but SEO Orbiter does not promise a notification every time a specified keyword changes rank. It is not a live SERP rank tracker.

Can I use Slack or choose arbitrary recipients?

The current product sends incident emails to the configured account address. Slack and arbitrary recipient routing are not part of this offering. Check Settings to review the available notification controls.

Will a single failed request trigger an incident?

Repeated technical faults require separate observations. One retry is not treated as two independent confirmations. A blocked monitor request also does not prove that Google cannot index the page.
